2007 - Yellowstone National Park - 2007

Once again we have made the trip to Yellowstone National Park.

Brittney, Jeffrey and I Spent two weeks on the road with six nights in the Mammoth area of the park. We left on June 1st and returned June 17th. We spent time in Cody, Wyoming both before, and after, our time in Yellowstone.

We had ourselves a very nice cabin in Mammoth, though we spent relatively little time there. We got to know Gardner, Montana pretty well and made a couple of trips over the Beartooth. At one point it was closed due to snow at the pass, but we still had fun.

One of the highlights of our trip was driving the road up to Hellroaring Plateau, it was quite the adventure. I'd do that one again in a New York minute...LOL.

Lots, and lots of animals this trip. Last time we saw just about everything we expected, with the exception of wolves and very, very few moose. This time it was as if the moose population had exploded on us!! We saw moose EVERYWHERE!! It was great.

We saw several wolves in the facility in West Yellowstone, then later on saw one out near the northeast entrance to the park. Absolutely beautiful. There is just something about a lone wolf trotting across the countryside to give you a look back through time.

This page is under construction and more will be added later. Lots of pics.
