What, you ask, is a Goldwing?
An Goldwing is a motorcycle, one that is unlike any other.
Why? Because it is mine.
Actually, a "Goldwing" is a Honda motorcycle meant to excite the soul. Mine is a 2007 Goldwing. I am having more fun than the guy hired to oil down the Playboy Bunnies before a photo shoot..... okay, maybe not as much fun as that guy, but a LOT of fun anyway...lol.
The photo is of a Saturday ride down to Corpus Christi, and we stopped down by the docks where it appeared there were some Tanks waiting to be loaded up and sent overseas (gee, I wonder where?). This is my third bike since I got back into riding a couple of years ago. Below this picture you'll see my old bike, a 2004 Honda VTX 1300 Retro. I sure did like that bike, but then I made the mistake of test riding a Goldwing, and it was all over but the financing....lol.

The VTX and I did make some great runs. One to St. Augustine, Florida. One to Sturgis in 2004, and one to Washington, D. C. for Rolling Thunder. I put nearly 36,000 miles on it in the 18 months I rode it before trading it in for the Goldwing.
My former wing and I did right at 40,000 mile in about 12 months. The silver Goldwing I had between riding the VTX, and trading them both in on the 2003, had 8,000 miles when I bought it, and nearly 50,000 when I traded it in with the VTX just over a year and 2 months later. I've had a lot of good rides and fun with all three.
Now, the new wing, purchased in September of 2007, has 10,000 miles on it, and it is May, 2008 at this writing.
So you could say, I ride just a little bit. LOL.
